Grad Student Success in Data Science & Informatics

The College of Science is at the forefront in science innovation and cutting-edge research. For students whose dream career is working in the fields of biology, chemistry, physics, medicine, mathematical sciences, environmental or data science and informatics, we can help them realize that reality!

Data science and informatics are rapidly evolving fields of science/mathematics that are in high demand because they combine mathematics, computing, statistics and modeling to solve complex challenges required for data-driven industries. Graduates with these skills will find top paying jobs in technology, government, banking, healthcare and research-intensive businesses to make important discoveries, create disruptive innovations, and reduce manufacturing time and costs to optimize important operations.

With your support, our students will have greater access to scholarship funding to reduce their overall cost of education, but also provide them with access to cutting-edge software and computing technologies with direct application to their research programs and ultimately better prepare them for their dream job in the highly sought after field of Data Science and informatics.

Which College of Science featured Giving Day fund will secure the most gifts for Raise Your Pick Giving Day? First Place: $2,500, Second Place: $1,500, Third Place: $1,000.
