UTEP views participation in student organizations as an important piece to become not just a campus leader, but an informed member of society who is ready to affect change in their communities. We recognize that it takes more than academic achievement to create a fulfilling future. It takes intellectual curiosity and drive, plus an encouraging environment where students can thrive.
With the support of a campus community dedicated to student growth and development, students have the opportunity to explore their passions, develop talents and build a life lived with purpose. Through participation in student organizations, our scholars develop their leadership, teamwork and communication skills while improving the culture and quality of life for not only our university but for the wider community.
UTEP students have the opportunity to participate in more than 250 student organizations. Currently, more than 5,500 students participate in at least one campus organization, and 20% of those participated in more than one organization.
Your generosity on Raise Your Pick Giving Day will support student initiatives, provide meaningful opportunities and help with day-to-day operations. Thank you for supporting our students!
