Nursing Simulation Lab

The College of Nursing Simulation Lab is a crucial experiential learning resource for training and evaluating UTEP nursing students in patient care prior to their clinical rotations. In the simulation lab, students face “real life” scenarios dealing with a variety of health-related issues such as home health care, maternity, mental health, cardiovascular care, and medical surgical care in a safe learning environment. They learn to prioritize multiple tasks while conducting real-time assessments and procedures on live, scripted patients.

For Raise Your Pick Giving Day, we hope you will contribute to the College of Nursing Simulation Lab so that our students have access to the latest equipment and technology that prepare them to successfully serve our community after graduation. Your support will help change the face of healthcare education at UTEP by enhancing invaluable training and experiences. Thank you!
