To that end, the College of Engineering has established the Faculty & Staff Excellence Award Funds. These awards aim to recognize and reward outstanding staff and faculty members who have demonstrated exceptional teaching, research, and service to the College. Your generous donation will help us to continue to support our outstanding staff and faculty members and to honor their dedication to UTEP by providing professional development opportunities, financial incentives, and employee appreciation events.
Meet Dr. Amit Lopes, assistant professor in the Department of Industrial, Manufacturing and Systems Engineering. For the past five years, Amit has been instrumental in advancing research efforts in the field of advance manufacturing, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to improve efficiency and has been an inspiration to countless students, motivating them to pursue their dreams of becoming engineers.
