Fine and Performing Arts

Our Fine and Performing Arts at UTEP, which are composed of the departments of Art, Creative Writing, Music and Theatre & Dance, are crucial areas not only as a university, but to our community because many members come by to see the wonderful performances from our fine arts students, and we would not be able to arrange these productions without your help.

From musical and theatrical performances, to poetry recitals, art exhibits and competitions, our students are given hands-on experience to become the future leaders in their field. Our students are bringing unique and important cultural experiences to El Paso, and we have a responsibility as the leading Hispanic-serving institution in a border city to empower the voices and perspectives of those who are often marginalized in the fine and performing arts.

Your gifts on Raise Your Pick Giving Day will provide valuable resources for our students and future Miners, such as scholarship opportunities, materials, art supplies, equipment and technology, guest artists’ engagement, and more to create better learning experiences. Countless students will benefit by utilizing these learning tools to reach their highest aspirations.
