Founded in 2022 to honor our former President, Dr. Diana Natalicio, the Institute named in her honor serves a national platform to develop and evaluate policy and programs, advance innovation, and cultivate resources critical to accelerating educational outcomes for Hispanic students.
The Institute seeks to uplift Dr. Natalicio’s legacy and her vision for higher education. As she often said, “Everyone has talent, but not everyone has opportunity.” She was passionately committed to making higher education more equitable for Latino students and transforming higher education systems and policies to expand life opportunities for all students.
On Raise Your Pick Giving Day, we are asking UTEP alumni, friends, and our community for your help in supporting The Diana Natalicio Institute for Hispanic Student Success to assist faculty members to conduct cutting-edge research in the field of Hispanic Student Success, so they are able to share their research, participate in other related academic endeavors, and expand the impact of their critical work, both within UTEP and beyond.
Join us in raising our picks for the Diana Natalicio Institute on April 12!
For Raise Your Pick Giving Day, we are also asking our community to help support graduate fellowships so that our students can continue their research efforts around Hispanic student success. Click the button below to learn more about the impact you can make:
