The UTEP College of Health Sciences educates and trains approximately three quarters of the region's healthcare professionals at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. The majority remain in the area after completing their degrees and serve our community.
Together, with strategic faculty hires, our new Rehabilitation Sciences Complex, which houses the Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy departments, has allowed us to increase admissions into our professional doctoral programs, addressing critical healthcare provider shortages in our region.
Ensuring healthcare students have access to cutting-edge technology and equipment for honing their clinical skills is at the heart of this new facility. Thanks to a generous matching grant from the Paso del Norte Health Foundation, your gift will have twice the impact in equipping the facility with advanced technology to support both teaching and research.
Join us on Raise Your Pick Giving Day to help complete our mission! We're calling on our alumni and community to come together to raise crucial funds for equipment and renovations in the Rehabilitation Sciences Complex. Your support will enhance student learning and ensure a strong pipeline of well-prepared rehabilitation professionals for our community.
We hope you will raise your pick for our Rehabilitation Sciences Complex campaign on April 22-23. Your contribution will make a lasting impact—thank you for your commitment!
The College of Health Sciences is also seeking support for professional development opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students and for doctoral student scholarships. Click the buttons below to learn more:
