Master of Public Health (MPH) Awards

The UTEP College of Health Sciences plays a significant role in preparing caring and competent healthcare professionals to serve the Paso del Norte region, with approximately three quarters of graduates remaining in the area after graduation.

Our Master of Public Health (MPH) program prepares future health leaders through innovative teaching, research, and service. It is the only program in the nation offering a concentration in Hispanic and Border Health. Our students work closely with faculty advisors to complete research and internships focused in the areas of chronic and infectious disease, environmental health, maternal-child health, nutrition, and substance use disorders, among others.

On Raise Your Pick Giving Day, we are asking our alumni and community to help remove financial barriers for our MPH students by supporting student awards. Pursuit of the MPH degree typically requires giving up full-time employment to focus on coursework and complete internships and research projects. Your support will expand access to this innovative program and allow our students to complete their degrees in a timely manner.

We hope you will raise your pick for our MPH students on April 17! Thank you in advance for your investment in their futures.
