Student-Athlete Advisory Committee

Gifts to SAAC go directly to the student-athlete leaders seeking to positively impact the UTEP student-athlete experience through events, development, and engagement

The UTEP Student-Athlete Advisory Committee is comprised of student-athletes from all 17 sports. These student-athletes work with their peers and teammates with a goal to enhance the overall experience of UTEP student-athletes, protect student-athlete welfare, and build student-athlete leaders.

"SAAC is an integral part of the Athletic Department. We are the leaders that lend our voices and ideas to change and enhancement. Additional money will give SAAC the opportunity to keep up with the everchanging landscape of student-athlete experience needs. As we know it takes a certain level of commitment to accomplish and achieve goals. Giving Day is your day to help us reach our goals with your commitment through generosity.”

JOHN BURRIS

SAAC Community Service Chair/Football Player

With additional funds, SAAC will have the capability to plan more cultural and community initiatives and celebration events as well adequately give back to the El Paso community.  If UTEP SAAC can utilize funds for enhanced engagement, then they will be one step closer to being a conference and nationally recognized group and make UTEP and the city of El Paso proud. We are excited to see what great impact these student-athletes can make with your help!
